1. Service
OrigoPass is a software service that helps manufacturers record product and batch information and publish it in the format of the EU Digital Product Passport. The service does not provide legal compliance approval, certification or independent verification; all information on the passport is the manufacturer's declaration, and the manufacturer is responsible for its accuracy.
2. Account and security
The account holder is responsible for the actions of its users. Passwords must not be shared; two-factor authentication is recommended. Supplier links are single-use and must be forwarded only to the supplier concerned.
3. Data and ownership
The data entered belongs to the manufacturer. OrigoPass processes it to provide the service; published passport pages expose only the fields allowed for the applicable access level. Account/personal data and published DPP records that must remain available under applicable product legislation follow separate retention rules. Closing an account does not automatically delete published passport records that must be retained.
4. Service and schema updates
Uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Fields for product groups may be updated under the applicable EU legislation. Existing publications are retained with version history; additional fields in the current schema are assessed separately.
5. Liability
OrigoPass is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the service. The manufacturer should verify compliance with EU legislation with its own advisers.
